Yesterday I gave you a little insight into the possibly lesser know designers of NY Fashion Week. I will continue that with a little more information on a few more designers that you may not have heard of but definitely should get to know.

Designer Jackie Fraser-Swan attended the School of Fashion Design in Boston, MA. After graduating, Jackie headquartered her collection at the Newbury Street shopping district giving the collection the name, Emerson, her middle name and the name of a distant relative poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson. Her collection evokes couture, rock and romance.

Joy Cioci is a Florida native who attended FIT in New York for her undergrad. After apprenticing in top fashion houses, Gucci, Nina Ricci and Carolina Herrera, Joy moved to assist Wink and Chelsea Flower in their brand launch. Realizing working for other designers was not her passion, Joy launched her first collection for FW11. Joy blends femininity, boldness and color to provide an ecclectic collection.
