#Madonna in @Givenchy stomped the #Superbowl last night. I was not only happy to see her perform but cheering on my favorite teams in the world, NY Giants and NE Patriots (I know, I’m a contradiction!) What a great game! Some good commercials (looking at you, Ferris) and great plays that led to a nail-biting conclusion!
The fashion of the game was the most exciting for most of the ladies and some men watching the Superbowl. Madonna donned Givenchy couture in all 3 of her mini-concert looks. Her headpiece was by Philip Treacy. She was joined on stage by LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, MIA, Cee-lo and a choir. Also the dancer that won her nationwide contest joined her side-by-side on stage.
I loved the Egyptian/Roman theme Madonna pulled off. I also love that she didn’t just do “Give me all your luvin” but some of her classic hits as well. Madonna’s halftime show was the best since MTV stopped putting on the halftime shows (sorry Prince, you are a close second).
No matter what team you were rooting for last night, everyone could be impressed by 53 year old Madonna’s iconic performance, especially her supported cartwheels and walk-overs! And it took more than one bobble to stop her from performing. A performer through and through, I L.U.V. Madonna!
