Mara Hoffman showed at Lincoln Center Saturday February 11th at 2pm. I was lucky enough, thanks to Peoples Revolution, to receive an invite. And when I say lucky, I mean really lucky. So far, I am thoroughly impressed with this Fall’s Fashion Week!
Bold: Mara’s prints are always so amazing but her scarves stole the show. With almost every look, Mara paired a scarf with a wide-brimmed hat. The scarves could’ve been too much but because there were such lovely dresses, the scarves managed to only complement the looks.
Prints: Once again, Mara proved she is the master of tribal prints. Continuing her theme from Spring 12, Mara Hoffman made some new prints that could translate from Fall Thanksgiving in New York to Christmas in Bali. I definitely want to jet-set with her collection!
Improvements: Mara Hoffman has obviously proved that she can design for many types of women, but some of her shape this season aren’t exactly normal-sized friendly. Gorgeous leggy models look amazing in them but I could never wear, especially the cut out black dress pictured above though I want to be able to.
Overall, I love loved Mara’s collection because I love prints and like to mix it up as well. Hats and scarves are definitely my thing so I would love to grab a few of those from her collection too.
