Kati Stern’s line Venexiana showed Saturday February 11th. There is really only one word for it: Glamorous!
Bold: One thing I truly admire Kati Stern for is her fearless approach to fur! She put together a collection full of luxurious and probably extremely warming and comfortable fur. Whether you agree or disagree on her use of fur is a different story. I’m not completely for fur but understand the beauty of it and don’t believe anyone has the right to ruin anyone else’s clothes whether they disagree with it or not.
Color: It’s no question that Kati Stern can produce one good-looking gown. But her use of color for the gowns is outstanding. Where else can you find green, orange, blue, purple and red in the same runway when evening wear is showing?! Pure brilliance was displayed in the watercolor blue/purple tie-dyish gown and the gold and black scale gown.
Improvements: Kati Stern’s gowns and cocktail dresses were gorg. I don’t think there is much to improve on. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the hair. The odd Victorian hair with these beautiful decadent dresses just didn’t really go for me, especially with the rock alternative music that was playing.
Will definitely love to see some other shows by Kati because Venexiana was definitely crazy hot!
